On Saturday, January 17, and again on Monday, January 19 (one day before Barack Obama’s inauguration), The Office will screen the critically acclaimed documentary film Crawford, director David Modigliani’s glimpse into the lives of the residents of Crawford, Texas, after President George W. Bush moved there in 1999. Both showings will take place at 8 p.m. Admission is free, but we are encouraging donations of three to five dollars so we can continue to pay rent and offer events for the Ames community in the future. To learn more, visit the film’s website.

Enjoy the site updates; we’re still in the process of updating some more old entries that got screwed up (lost images, dead links, etc.) when we encountered problems updating WordPress.

Stick with us; thanks for visiting. And happy holidays.
