Today all eyes are on Wisconsin, where Republican Gov. Scott Walker faces off against Democratic Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett in a recall election that’s also targeting the lieutenant governor and four Republican state senators.
But today’s also primary day in Iowa. The Ames Progressive will have post-primary coverage of some of the state races, but until then check out Bleeding Heartland for a good rundown of the more interesting developments.
