Ames band (and friends of the Progressive) The Poison Control Center have been on a tear since they started touring around last year’s Sad Sour Future. Now they’re on tour promoting the newly released Stranger Ballet. The band’s off to a great start: the excellent “Torpedoes on Tuesday” track from the album is featured on Spin Magazine’s July playlist.
